Florence photos

Hi all before I forget, this afternoon they celebrated the cheese festival in the town square, with drums and flag throwing, it may sound corny but I love that stuff, if you google pienza and festival you will see what I mean.

Here are the photos from Florence it is so full of art and culture, that 4 days is just not enough what with michealangelo. Leonardo da Vinci & bottecelli
Sorry if the spelling is wrong, but there are statues and paintings everywhere.

Here are some
Copy of David in the palazzo michaelangelo

This was jus one they used as fill

Me at piazza michaelangelo

This a crank bishop that had them change were the door to paradise (door to the church) because he didn't want to walk so far

Doors to paradise

The palazzo vechhio

We did a tour of the hidden passages

Me enjoying a beer at an Irish pub in the square watching the rugby at suncorp

In side the roof, more interest to Peter than me I m afraid

The boboli gardens behind the pitti palace

Notice Peter won't let me take the photo's

This is outside the palazzo Vecchio

We saw some amazing art, but unfortunately were unable to photograph it. But while we were in the palazzo Vecchio they were investigating some frescoes, as they though a da vinci was behind it.

It seems that picture of michaelangelo was a bit too much information. Did the gondola guy sing for you?? Baby's name is officially Ziggy Boyd. Have fun you are living our dream.
